for breeders with large numbers of birds, who require a cost effective,
high potency supplement.
Caged
birds on seed diets will require nutritional supplementation with vitamins
and minerals to maintain good health. Limited exposure
to sunlight may result in Vitamin D Deficiency. Vitamin D has a role in
the absorption of Calcium, which is essential for normal health and growth
bones in young birds and eggshell formation in breeding hens.
Chicks
on home formulated diets should have Soluvite D Breeder added to their
drinking water or food daily until their first moult, then 3 x weekly.
Breeding birds should be started on Soluvite D breeder 4-6 weeks prior to
egg laying to ensure that optimum vitamin levels are put into the eggs.
Dosage:
Add 5g to 5L of drinking water and mix well or add 5g to 8kg of soft food.
Daily use of vitamins in either food or water is recommended to supplement
the diet, where deficiencies may be present. Suitable for use in all
species of birds.
